About me

I’m a South African visual artist with a lifelong passion for creativity.

After completing my BA Degree in Visual Communication at The Open Window in 2005, I spent 20 years working as a graphic designer.

For nearly 20 years, I didn’t paint at all—until 2020, when I returned to it as a hobby. By 2023, I committed fully to developing my art practice.

Working in oil, watercolour, acrylic, gouache, pencil, and more, I focus on people and animals in both impressionistic and realistic styles.

I’m especially drawn to surrealism, which I’ll soon begin incorporating into my work. I enjoy creating concept-driven pieces with deeper meaning.

Art, for me, is both expressive and meditative—rooted in emotion, storytelling, and fine detail.
